Dressden Von Schierholz porcelain tripod table dated 1906-onwards. This tripod table has a floral patterned design on the table top and featured throughout on the stem & legs. The pink, blue & yellow scheme is complimented by the ornately intricate gilded Cobalt blue band that runs around the top. The stem also has floral gild that runs into the three footed base. Inside one of the legs is clearly marked Dressden 'Von Schierholz' and also signed by the decorative artist. Fantastic condition. Von Schierholz dates from around 1817 and Since its inception, rather than focus on dinnerware, the Von Schierholz factory has produced some of the greatest examples of porcelain vases, compotes, and figural items yet in the storied history of Meissen, Dresden, and other producers in what is now Germany. The Von Schierholz porcelain factory is still located in its original town of Plaue in Thuringia. In 1967, the Von Schierholz Porcelain Factory celebrated its diamond jubilee.
