Pair of sevres boxes mid 19th century


PCC270-Pair of sevres boxes mid 19th century. Absolutely beautiful examples of quality sevre porcelain. The boxes are covered in raised guilt Rococco style line work that frames a central hand painted inset in subtle pastel colours. one depicts a gallant with a women and the other a women with child/servant. Stunning looking they are both in the shape of almost a tiger claw design, there are three side panals again with framed inset pictures and a guilded panel on the rear. The lid opens to reveal two more floral insets on the inside of lid and the case. Sevres mark is on the base. Weight 360g - Height 50mm - Length 110mm -225
